Dr Tom Montgomery BVSC MRCVS BSc(Hons) -Veterinary Surgeon
Tom qualified in Liverpool in 1997 and is our principal vet and practice manager. He has a mad Cocker Spaniel called Jess and a laid back cat called Charlie The Magnificent – named by the kids.
Dr Rebecca Crossfield BVSc MRCVS – Veterinary Surgeon
Rebecca is a local girl and a graduate of the University of Liverpool. She has a particular interest in small animal work. Rebecca has three dogs; Pippa a 5 year old Labradoodle who loves playing ball, Lulu (Pippa’s daughter) who is 3 and Jess a 5 year old crossbreed who is full of energy. She also has 4 cats and 5 rabbits. Rebecca enjoys attending behavioural classes with the labradoodles and also reckons that Jess is a flyball champion in training.
Dr Beth Clark BVETMed MRCVS BSc(Hons)- Veterinary Surgeon
Beth qualified from London Vet School in 2012. She lives with her cat called Noir who she ‘acquired’ from work and loves horses.
Dr Christopher Jones BVSc MRCVS – Veterinary Surgeon
Chris qualified from Bristol University in 2016 but, coming from a family of vets, had spend a lot of time gaining experience at Hartford Veterinary Hospital. Chris has also spent time volunteering on a game reserve in South Africa.
Helen Tuckley – Qualified Veterinary Nurse
Helen has been a nurse at the Laurels for 6 years and she runs our nurse clinics. Helen has a particular interest in animal weight and diet issues. Helen has 3 dogs, 2 cats and 2 horses.
Margi Deakin- Head Receptionist
Margi has been at the Laurels for 10 years and has two dogs called Tess and Charlie and an African Grey Parrot called Walter.
Mandy Doolan – Receptionist/ Insurance Advisor
Mandy has worked for the Laurels for 8 years and she has a Staffordshire bull terrier called Milo.
Maria Clark – Trainee Nurse.
Maria has worked at the Laurels for 6 years and has a dog called Jessie and 2 cats called Neville and Luna
Christine Faulkener -Receptionist.
Christine has been with us for 3 years and has a dog called Milo
Carol Foyne – Receptionist
Carol has been with us for 18 months and she has 2 dogs called Bisto and Sox and a horse called Roscoe.
Deborah Watson – Trainee Veterinary Nurse
Deborah joined the Laurels a 18 months ago and has 2 dogs called Max and Paddy
Alicia Steele – Trainee Veterinary Nurse
Alicia has been with us for a year and is currently studying towards her nursing qualification.
Bethany Carlton – Admin Assistant Apprentice
Bethany holds a level 3 Extended Diploma in Equine Studies. She has always had a love of animals and has worked at a livery yard for 2 years. Bethany has a tortoise called Robbie.
Melissa Blyth – Trainee Vet Nurse
Melissa has studied Animal Management at Reaseheath College. She has a strong passion for all animals but has a special interest in German Shepherds. She currently has a German Shepherd called Clyde and a cat called Lottie
Rachel Ward – Business Apprentice
Rachel has joined the team as a Business Apprentice to help us look after all our paperwork. She has always had animals including hamsters, rabbits, fish, cats and dogs and now owns a black Shih Tzu called Patch.
Diane Whalley – Receptionist
Diane is from a farming background and currently owns a livery yard.She has three horses – a 15 year old eventer called Paddy, a 3 year old called Chino and a yearling called B.Kanny. Diane recently said a sad goodbye to her 13 year old labrador called Sam.
